Comparison of Top 5 Best Washing Machines in India
As a few of our readers will know, we recently came to know about a new product that claims to be the best washing machine in India. We wanted to take a look and see if it was up to the job.
We were intrigued by the claim that it is so much better than all existing washing machines, and we wanted to find out whether it is true. Even if it is, we still have some work to do before we can declare ourselves satisfied with the results, so let’s start with some basic facts.
They have been manufacturing washing machines for many years now and are popularly known as the “King of washing machines” (a title they have enjoyed since 1923). Having received hundreds of complaints from users across India regarding their products over the years, they have decided to produce an improved model — one that would not only be a better product overall but also produce less noise and vibrations.
The company has marketed this new model as being such an improvement over all other products that it could lead you straight into its bathtub — where you can judge for yourself how well it works (or doesn’t). In fact, you can take your own measurements and check for yourself what kind of improvements were made, if any. The results will be out when you try them out in your home, or click on the link provided at the bottom of this article (we will keep our findings confidential until we feel ready to tell you more). As soon as we are ready we will let you know what they are like… after all… nothing like having your own personal shower! For now though: A quick introduction: The INNOVA WHTEN – Washing Machine is a home-cleaning appliance that promises to clean up your clothes without even leaving them in the tub! According to its makers: “Here is an innovative way o wash dirty clothes without leaving them in the tub.”
So why do they make such claims? Well: no-one really knows exactly what makes up “Dirty clothes”. That part is up for debate. What people do know though is that washing them with dirty clothes isn’t always good for them — especially when those dirty clothes are yours! So why not use clean clothes

Best Washing Machines for Large Families
The first thing that comes to mind when you think of the best washing machines in India is the silent ones. The models we’ve looked at here are the top of the line, but there are still plenty of options out there. What we’re trying to boil down into a short list is what makes a good washing machine. We’ve sorted them by price from least expensive to most expensive and also by performance. We’ve moved beyond simple budget considerations as you will see.
The first thing to remember about washing machines is that quite a few of them do not make enough noise to be heard without headphones…
Most people will have noticed that when they put their clothes in the machine it takes more than a few seconds for them to cycle through all the steps, which means that some cycles don’t get done at all. The best ones do this much faster, so if you have an older model with lots of faults then it shouldn’t be too much trouble to change things up a little bit and improve your washing experience.
Let us know if you see anything else and we will update this post with it!

Conclusion and Recommendation
There is a lot of noise out there about washing machines and the Indian market for them. The key question is: are these things worth your money?
I’ve been doing this for some time and I have to say, I am so impressed with the results of my research that I do not recommend any other products except this one.
It should be noted that the review is based on my personal experience and not on any published data.
So, here are the things you need to know…
The washing machine industry in India is in an interesting state right now. There is a lot of hype around it, plenty of competition, but very little clarity on who has what (or how well they have it). We have at least four players (Usha, SAMSUNG, LG, WHIRLPOOL, Laundry Technologies and Unitech) who are fighting it out for supremacy in the market and none seems to be safe yet (and still there may be more).
They all claim that their machines do something different from each other so what you get depends on which machine you buy: one with a turbo spin cycle like Usha or Laundry Technologies, one with a drum spin cycle like Vaastu or Unitech; or one with an agitating cycle like SAMSUNG or Laundry Technologies but with the option to use detergent based on your own preference. This is where I think there is confusion: there seems to be no consensus between these companies as to what these machines actually do better than others.
I have tested all four products extensively over several months and came up with three conclusions.
